If your goal is to start making a handmade wardrobe for all the little ones in your life, then may I introduce you to these four charming ducks?

Meaning "little beaks" or "little kisses" in French, "les petits becs" add a sweet vintage touch to any outfit. The bibs pictured (which are linked in the pattern) are a buttery-soft cotton muslin, but any cotton bib may be used. And while they designed for bibs, these ducks would be equally charming on a onesie, a burp cloth, or even the sleeve of an adult sweatshirt!

Meet the four personalities included in the pattern:

Gardening Glenda, who's starting her very first garden... but really, she's just hoping someone will notice her cute sunhat.

Courting Clarence, who thinks a lady friend would be a real feather in his cap - but after dinner, all he gets is the bill.

Puddly Pippa, who looks fabulous even on a rainy day and *always* makes sure her accessories coordinate.

Studious Stanley, a serious fellow who quotes literature at every opportunity (Billiam Shakespeare, Blaise Pasquack, - you know, only the very best).

      So so cute

I stitched these sweet ducks on a muslin blanket. They turned out so cute. I did have trouble with the stick and stitch on the muslin- not the fault of the shop, but just a helpful note. The muslin stretches a lot in the hoop, but the Sulky stick n stitch did not. So when I took it out, the satin stitch (especially on the umbrella) was saggy and needed tacking. I also would’ve loved high resolution photos of each duck to guide me! But otherwise a very thorough, beautiful pattern!!
